Seize the Imperium is a card game of galactic conquest for 2-4 players including head-to-head dueling rules, and expansion rules for 5-6 player games.
The Emperor has died after a long and bloodied civil war, and you represent one of the key factions of the galaxy, vying to be fill the vacuum.
Use World cards to allocate Fleets, Troops, Orbitals, and Installations to conquer and defend. Employ powerful Characters and use specialized Tactics to assure your edge in combat, and guarantee victory.
Use one of four different deck strategies, including: hard-hitting Capital Attack, carrier-launched Fighter Strike, fast and explosive Drone Onslaught, or troop rushing Ground Assault.
Conquer or buy your way with enough Victory Points to become the next Emperor or Empress of the Galaxy! Only one can rule!
Capital Attack Deck
This deck brings to bear the strongest fleets in the galaxy, allowing you to command battleships and cruisers, which can deal and take damage like no other ships in the game. After annihilating their ships, send in battalions of infantry to secure the planet, which can be destroyed and come back for more!
Fighter Strike Deck
Unleash waves of fighters against the enemies of your empire, from fleet carriers hanging at a safe distance, and launch specialized fighter squadrons loaded for the right target.
Once you've won orbit, send in the mechs, the strongest troop unit on the battlefield.
Ground Assault Deck
Instead of winning in orbit, this deck sends in a variety of ground troops including battle tanks, specialized infantry, and air superiority hovers from troop carriers.
Quickly secure the command centers of the planet, while the defending battle fleets are still looking for targets.
Drone Onslaught Deck
With this deck, your drones quickly descend upon the planets of your neighbors, as they just begin to build their defenses.
Your drones will fight in coordinated unison for deadly effect, or can even disregard their own survival, to ram into the enemy with terminal intensity. Your drones will show no quarter!
Core Set Game Box
The Core set has all four decks: Capital Attack, Fighter Strike, Drone Onslaught, and Ground Assault. That's 280 cards! Otherwise you can buy head-to-head deck pairs (Capital Attack vs. Fighter Strike, or Drone Onslaught vs. Ground Assault)
