The 1st of two expansions will introduce the world of spycraft. Spy Characters and Espionage cards will allow you to sabotage units, slow production, do sneak attacks, use cloaked fleets, and exploit misdirection! Introduces Allocation cards, mine fields, and shield generators.
Paired with the 1st deck is the theme of superior technology and high end fire power through the Technological Allocation and Reaction cards. Your Scientist Characters will be able to upgrade your powerful fleets to be unstoppable. You'll be able to counter cloaking and stealthy tech of the other deck!
This set introduces the Marshal characters and ExoMarine Reaction cards. This is the theme of winning the "beach head" of orbit, either in attack or defending. The ExoMarine cards will inflict damage without a unit to supplement. They are the kings of orbital defense, or conquest!
Here we introduce the Insurgent characters. These tyrants and terrorists will use Biological Allocation and Reaction cards to bring waves of Aug soldiers, biological upgrades and introduce ways to bring conquered World cards to rebellion and freedom! You'll be able take back planets without a single fleet in orbit!
The families that really control the galaxy are revealed with the Galadium characters and their Political Allocation and Reaction cards. They will stranglehold your foes through the economy, and bring Termbots if that's not enough to get it done! if they can't conquer the galaxy, they'll just have to buy it!
The Senate returns to it's roosts of power with Senator characters and their Vote cards, which can change the galaxy's landscape. Regent will never be more important! They also bring to bear high end specialized military tech of the Imperium, like drop fortresses and plasma mortars! Also introduces Systemships!
Finally the Pirates have arrived! You can hire them to raid your opponents, keeping them in check and bringing extra stolen plunder to your vaults! They also bring powerful tech from the Rim, by introducing the Artifact cards! The Ancient's devices will destroy worlds and ensure your ascendancy! Careful what your start!
With the pirates are the Merchants and the fleets that brought them round. Generate huge wealth through trade, and buy your way to the Throne. They won't be a pushover, having bought formidable forces to protect the shipping lanes. They also will introduce the final Allocation card sub-type of Cybernetics!
When all else fails, it's time to hire Mercenaries. They'll conquer any world you want (for the right price), or neutralize that elusive Character. And if it really comes to desperate measures, it's time to deploy Weapons of Stellar Destruction! Careful though, you probable pay a price for destroying whole worlds!
